The Perth school zones where house prices have soared

ree

House prices in some sought after school zones soared by nearly 30 per cent in 2022 as families and investors compete for homes close to popular schools.

More than two-thirds of public school catchments in capital cities recorded house price growth this year, outperforming the broader market according to Domain’s latest School Zones Report.

In Western Australia, properties in the catchment area for Carine Senior High School took the state’s top spot for the largest price rise with a median price of $1,051,000 – a rise of 21.5 per cent year-on-year.

Enrolments at the school have swelled to 2276 as local families are drawn to the school’s high achievements and state-of-the-art facilities. The school is currently undergoing a major $32 million redevelopment to cater for an additional 600 students.
