Two people found dead at home in Cooloongup in Perth's south, police say no threat to public

Police investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of two people at a home in Perth's southern suburbs say they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.

Emergency services were called to the residence on Sunningdale Circle, Cooloongup, near Rockingham, around 7:20pm last night.

Police said when officers arrived at the home, they found a 70-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman dead.
